DIRECTOR HUMAN CAPITAL – BIUST

The University is looking for qualified and experienced individuals for the below stated positions.
The positions are offered on a fixed term contract of up to five (5) years.

DIRECTOR HUMAN CAPITAL

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• Responsible for senior level decision making, day to day management and strategic direction in the areas of Human Capital Management to facilitate attraction, development and retention of suitably qualified and productive staff and thereby contribute to the achievement of the University’s mandate.
• Ensure equitable and transparent implementation of the University’s terms and conditions of employment policies and practices.
• Expertly guide the work of the department’s staff, steer them towards effective delivery of the department’s mandate and achievement of its goals, and ensure optimal use of all resources within the department.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Academic Qualification:
At least a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field from a recognised institution.
Professional Certification:
Membership to a recognised Human Resources professional organisation required.
Experience:
at managerial level.
At least ten (10) years post qualification experience in Human Capital field, of which five (5) should have been
