Botswana Oil Limited (BOL) was established to achieve the Government’s economic objectives of ensuring the security of fuel supply, managing government strategic fuel reserves, and facilitating active citizen involvement in the petroleum industry. BOL is looking for outstanding and driven individuals to take up the following exciting and challenging roles:
PROCUREMENT OVERSIGHT UNIT SPECIALIST
Role:
Responsible for safeguarding the integrity of the procurement process, promoting good governance, and contributing to BOL’s overall success. Acts as an internal assurance control for procurement activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
•Timely procurement of goods, services, and works
•Management of Procurement Oversight Records
•Compliance monitoring with Public Procurement Act, Public Procurement Regulations, and BOL internal rules, policies, and processes
•Risk management
•Adherence to customer service standards
•Quality Assurance
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Management, CIPS full membership.
•Any Engineering Qualification will be an added advantage.
Professional/Technical:
•Full membership to the Chartered Institute of Supply.
Experience:
•Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in Procurement, of which five (5) should have been gained in the procurement of large-scale.
