Western Apparels, a reputable garment manufacturing company based in Gaborone, is looking for a reliable and detail oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance team. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to grow their accounting career in a fast-paced and hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily accounting operations including data entry and filing
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and on time
• Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain proper documentation of financial records
• Assist with payroll preparation and statutory compliance (e.g., VAT, PAYE)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Degree will be an added advantage)
• At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of Sage Pastel Accounting Software and all Microsoft Office Applications
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity
• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
