Afro Ventures Botswana (Pty) Ltd T/A and Beyond is seeking a capable, stable, and energetic Operations Manager. The role requires a passionate individual dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences, community care, and environmental sustainability.

Key Outputs:

• Oversee guest services to ensure personalized, memorable 5-star experiences.
• Enhance guest satisfaction through innovative service offerings.
• Manage financial performance, budgets, month-end processes, and payroll.
• Prepare operational reports for the Regional Manager.
• Oversee all lodge departments and maintain 5-star food standards with the Executive Chef.
• Foster inter-lodge communication and cooperation.
• Host travel agents and VIPs.
• Develop staff skills and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Drive community projects with Wild Impact and meet sustainability goals.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or certificate in Tourism Management, Hospitality, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs.
• Minimum of 5 years in hospitality management.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Skills and Personal Characteristics:
• Warm, outgoing personality with strong English communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High energy, motivational leadership, and attention to detail.
• Financial acumen and passion for creating memorable experiences.
• Willingness to work in remote areas and knowledge of Southern Africa.
• Strong background in food and beverage management.
