Komatsu is a global leader in the supply of Japanese-engineered mining, construction, earthmoving and utility equipment. Komatsu Botswana is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their Jwaneng Team. The successful candidate should hold a Degree in B.Sc. Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) with 8 years technical experience with four (4) years in a leadership role in a Mining environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Form 5 certificate
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in:
• Parts Ordering
• Warehouse functions
• Basic MS Excel
• Basic SAP Ordering

Job Specifications:

• Participate in workplace safety events
• Administrates the parts ordering process
• Executing/assisting with the physical binning of parts stock
• Administrating back order
• Checking and verifying paperwork vs parts e.g. picking slips, invoices, delivery notes and part
• Filling all sources documentation for financial audit purposes
• Receives parts for parts returns from customers
• Plans stock counts in conjunction with management
• Executes and participates in stock counts
• Executes general office administration
• Answer telephone & taking messages
• Coordinating communication between stakeholders (management and customers)
• Performing counter duties
• Arranging transport for parts (when required)
