We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Officer (People Capability Officer) to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for aligning human resources practices with our organizational goals, supporting staff welfare, and driving strategic HR initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Retention: Lead the recruitment and retention of top talent to support organizational growth.
- Performance Management: Guide managers on performance improvement strategies and ensure timely completion of performance development plans. Set annual goals using the Balanced Scorecard and KPIs.
- Employee Relations: Address grievances, resolve conflicts, and manage disciplinary issues to foster a positive workplace environment.
- Culture & Engagement: Manage feedback surveys and drive organizational values and culture development initiatives.
- Compensation: Partner with management and various departments to provide HR support and ensure effective team leadership.
- Payroll & Compliance: Review payroll and resolve related complaints. Stay updated on employment laws to ensure legal compliance.
- Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate HR records, organize digital employee information, and compile HR metrics for reporting.
- Learning & Development: Coordinate training events and development opportunities for all staff.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other HR-related tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
Education & Training
- Degree in Human Resources Management (or equivalent).
- Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Human Resources Officer.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with SAGE 300 HR systems.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of HR practices and labour/industrial relations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
