PRODUCTION SPECIALIST – BOPP & PP Bag Manufacturing

About Us:

Mega Bags Botswana is a trusted manufacturer of high-quality woven polypropylene (PP) and BOPP laminated bags used across industries such as agriculture, construction, food, and chemicals. We are looking for an experienced Production Specialist with hands-on knowledge of industrial sewing machines used in woven bag production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end production process for PP woven and BOPP laminated bags.

• Operate and supervise machines including extrusion, weaving, lamination, printing, cutting, and industrial sewing units (e.g., bag bottom stitchers, side seamers).

• Ensure that all sewn bags meet strength, alignment, and quality specifications.

• Train and supervise machine operators and sewing line staff.

• Conduct routine inspections and minor maintenance on sewing machines and other production equipment.

• Maintain daily production logs and quality reports.

• Promote adherence to safety, hygiene, and operational standards on the factory floor.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certificate in Production Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in PP/BOPP bag manufacturing.
