MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – The Lion Park Resort

VACANCY 

The Lion Park Resort is looking for an experienced maintenance manager passionate about the customer service industry.

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for carry out planned preventative maintenance, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the infrastructure and equipment at the Lion Park Resort.

Education

• BGCSE or equivalent qualification

• Completed Trade test B (Mechanical / Electrical)

Experience

• 1 year post experience in an engineering environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with planned maintenance and reactive maintenance.

• Performs daily rides check as per the outlined procedures.

• Performs visual inspections on any equipment/machinery in order to establish any defects, assessing specific requirements and reporting findings as appropriate.

• Ensure safety procedures are adhered to at all time when they are a break down.

• Removes and replaces defective components/parts as directed by the relevant supervisor.

• Operates specialised equipment and power/hand tools relevant to his/her trade.

• Attend to all administrative functions of the position.
