ARTISAN AUTO ELECTRICIAN – Lucara

Job Summary

Reporting to the Foreman – Mobile equipment, the Artisan Auto Electrician is responsible for carrying out inspections, installations, system operations, repairs and maintenance for the underground mine in line with the respective engineering discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and reliability centered electrical maintenance

• Planned and unplanned electrical repairs

• Equipment inspections and compliance

• Safety, health and environmental compliance

Qualifications & Experience

• BGCSE + National Crafts Certificate in Auto Electrical or equivalent.

• Working experience in Drill rigs, Load & haul dumpers and generators.

• Minimum of 5 years’ post qualification experience in mining or heavy plant environment.

• Troubleshooting skills.

• Class B Driver’s License.
