MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE – Lucara

VACANCY 

Job Summary

Responsible for operating the Bulk Air Cooler (BAC) equipment and daily monitoring of evaporators at the ponds in an efficient, effective, and safe manner with a view of ensuring optimal equipment utilization to achieve set production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• BAC Equipment Operation

• Maintenance of evaporating ponds equipment

• Equipment, maintenance and housekeeping

• Inspection and monitoring of dewatering surface pipes

• Safety, health and environmental compliance

Qualifications & Experience

• Trade Test B in Mechanical fitting or equivalent.

• At least 3 years relevant experience in a mining environment.

• Experience in working on pumps.

• Basic troubleshooting skills.

• Class B Driver’s License.
