Job Purpose
Execute commercial business strategies in the area of operation.
Proactively manage customer relationships to ensure sustained business growth using Sales First Tools, such as SPANCOP, time tracking, and weekly plans.
Principal Accountabilities
Manage customer relationships for sustainable business development.
Grow business volume and profitability (C3) according to annual targets.
Manage trade debtors to achieve targeted debt ratios.
Implement class-of-business strategy in line with marketing policy and principles.
Monitor and report on competitors’ marketing activities.
Deliver strong customer value propositions.
Liaise with service centres to ensure compliance with delivery levels and resolve issues promptly.
Ensure high return on asset utilization.
Identify and prioritize key stakeholders (community leaders, NGOs, etc.) and assess business/reputational impact.
Participate in annual target-setting processes.
Manage within agreed operating and capital expenditures.
Ensure all customers have signed supply agreements.
Enforce compliance with Vivo Energy’s business principles and HSSE requirements.
The ideal candidate must have:
University degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Commercial degree/diploma or equivalent, especially in Sales & Marketing.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a marketing or sales environment.
Proven track record of delivering results.
