ENVIRONMENTAL AUDIT SPECIALIST

VACANCY 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ESG auditing, environmental compliance, assurance, or environmental impact assessments.

• Relevant academic qualifications in environmental or social sciences, with a recent focus on ESG.

• Solid understanding of Botswana’s regulatory frameworks, including the EIA Act.

• Waste and Water Regulations, and BSE ESG reporting standards.

• Strong data analysis and report-writing skills.

• Must provide valid professional references related to ESG or environmental compliance work.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits of ESG programs, including climate, waste, supply chain, and diversity initiatives.

• Assess compliance with international frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD.

• Evaluate environmental risks, including carbon emissions, water usage, and biodiversity impact.

• Advise on ESG controls and ensure accuracy in sustainability reporting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional sustainability teams to enhance ESG performance.
