PROJECT DATA ANALYST – TATAKI

Job Purpose:

Provide strategic insights and performance monitoring across mine operations by collating, analysing and reporting mine-wide data. The role ensures that leadership has accurate, real-time visibility into operational and financial metrics, highlighting areas of concern such as cost overruns and performance deviations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consolidate production, cost and operational data from all mining departments (e.g., drilling, blasting, processing, maintenance).

• Develop and update interactive dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and budget adherence.

• Analyse departmental performance and highlight overspending, inefficiencies, or trends that require management attention.

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports and presentations for the General Manager and Executive Team.

• Work closely with finance, planning and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and improve reporting processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Mining Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field.

• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a mine operations or project analysis role.

• Experience within a mining or industrial environment will be an added advantage.

• Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.

• Working knowledge of mining processes and operational cost drivers.

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
