HEINSITE CONSTRUCTION (PTY) LTD. invites suitable candidates who possess the requisite experience, skills and competencies to apply for the following vacant position:
Materials Engineer – Construction Company
Materials Engineers source, test and assess the materials used in construction. They ensure that building foundations and materials are suitable and offer guidance on the best materials to use for a project.

Key Responsibilities

* Research and analyze potential materials for projects based on various factors like cost, performance, availability, and sustainability.
* Inspect incoming materials for compliance with specifications and conduct on-site testing when necessary.
* Participate in final inspections and ensure all materials meet contractual requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering or other non-civil engineering degree in Geotechnics/Geomechanics

Minimum Experience

8 years post graduate overall experience out of which 5 years’ experience in similar capacity in roads sector.
