New Delights (Pty) Ltd t/a African Hero Botswana, a proudly African-owned enterprise, is expanding its operations into Botswana. As part of this strategic growth, we are seeking highly skilled individuals to join our team.

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT – EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Director will be responsible for driving the vision, mission, and strategic execution of the African Hero Project. This role requires overall operational leadership, stakeholder engagement, financial governance, and oversight of programme delivery across all functional areas.

BRIEF JOB PROFILE OF POSITION

Key responsibilities will include:

· Provide strategic direction and high-level leadership to project and operational teams
· Ensure successful execution of the project in alignment with strategic and performance goals
· Represent the company in key stakeholder forums including government, regulatory bodies, and private sector partners
· Monitor and manage the company’s financial performance and sustainability
· Lead the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and compliance systems
· Guide risk management, legal compliance, and corporate governance
· Ensure that the company meets its statutory, contractual, and stakeholder obligations
· Foster a high-performance culture and provide mentorship to senior leadership

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

· A minimum of 10 years’ experience in senior leadership

· Experience managing cross-border teams or regional projects is an added advantage
