Technique (PTY) LTD t/a Nashua Botswana an Information Communication Technology (ICT) company focused on providing office automation, products, and services to a broad spectrum of clientele, both private and government, has a vacancy for the position of Helpdesk Operator Intern (OSM) tenable in Gaborone, Botswana.

Helpdesk Operator Intern

Essential Functions & Main Duties

• Investigates and writes incidents reports to the clients.
• Monitoring surveillance system (Hik Vision).
• Maintain records, writing detailed reports at the end of shifts.
• Following Standard Operating Procedures for surveillance operations to ensure consistency and effectiveness in their role
• Responds to alerts and reports to relevant authorities.

Qualifications

Education/ Certification/ Experience Required
• A Diploma in Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Basic knowledge about computing and CCTV related systems
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• 0-2 years of experience

Competencies Required

• Proficiency in MS Suite applications
• Strong understanding of Computer Science principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Demonstrated experience with computer hardware and software installation
• Familiarity with technical concepts and operating systems
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
