SYSTEMS ENGINEER – KAW Enterprises Pty Ltd

VACANCY 

KAW Enterprises Pty Ltd seeks to appoint a Systems Engineer. The successful candidate will be fully responsible for maintenance of the IT infrastructure and work towards supporting the IT needs of staff at operational level. This will be a highly autonomous role, which will allow you to administer the main Server and network infrastructure, manage server room facilities, manage communications services and provide technical support.

Key Responsibilities include:

– Maintaining computer networks and systems including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers and other physical hardware
– Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues
– Updating virus protection software to keep data and communications protected
– Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and networks
– Communicating networking issues to other employees and management, especially in training new users
– Fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems

Requirements:

– A degree in information technology/computer science, preferably CISCO certified.
– Minimum three years’ experience in relevant field.
– Proficiency in CISCO Switches, routers and networks preferred.
– Excellent leadership, analytical, multitasking and communication skills.
