About the Role

Land And Camp is seeking an experienced and passionate Cook to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will prepare delicious meals in accordance with our quality standards, maintain high levels of hygiene, and ensure customer satisfaction in our fast-paced restaurant and bar environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals, ensuring taste and presentation meet company standards. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Monitor food inventory and communicate stock needs promptly. Ensure proper storage and handling of all ingredients. Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines consistently. Work closely with the serving team to deliver timely and efficient service. Assist in planning menus and daily specials as required.

Skills and Competencies

Proven experience as a Cook or Chef in a restaurant or similar setting. Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and food safety standards. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Creativity and passion for delivering high-quality meals. Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field (an added advantage). Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
