Procurement Oversight Specialist (5 Year Contract)

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted with integrity, transparency, and alignment to corporate objectives. Acting as an internal procurement assurance mechanism, the role safeguards the procurement lifecycle from risk, enhances accountability and upholds principles of good governance- all of which are essential to sustaining BoFiNet’s reputation and long-term tender and projects success.

Key performances areas

· Effective compliance and monitoring of all procurement matters.
· Monitors and maintain POU Records.
· Compliance with Public Procurement Act and Regulations and other statutory requirements.
· Tender Process Management and risk management.
· Timely procurement of goods, services and works.
· Participate in reviewing and aligning the annual procurement plan.
· Other responsibilities as and when requested

Qualifications & Experience

The candidates should have attained the following:

· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management/CIPS Level 6 or related.
· Full membership to the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) or any other internationally recognized Supply Chain Institute will be an added advantage.
· At least Six (6) years relevant post qualification experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management environment, two (2) of which should have been at Senior Officer/Specialist level or equivalent.· Experience in procurement and tender management of large scale projects.
