Job Description
Primary Functions of the Role
Operations
- Assist customers visiting the store with their hardware/software requirements.
- Document sales by providing proposals, quotations and invoices.
- Check inventory to ensure orders are in stock before processing orders.
- Perform and maintain sales report and ensure that it is updated as and when required.
- Ensure that Fast Moving Stock Items are replenished (Stock Checks Done Once a week) – Liaise with Purchasing Clerk. Assist Purchasing Clerk.
- Assist in Delivering or Receiving Stock.
- Achieve sales targets as per sales plan
- Update pipeline and sales cycle activities on a daily basis
Finance
- Ensure that all sale transactions are recorded and that the relevant documents are in place for bookkeeping
- Provide weekly pipeline report
Customers
- Generate new business leads, courtesy and follow up calls to existing and potential customers and create interest in products and services offered by the company.
- Serve as a customer service representative for clients who have queries or challenges.
- Expedites the resolutions of customer problems and complaints.
- To manage and monitor client satisfaction at regular intervals.
Job Requirements
Experience & Formal Qualifications
- Form 5, NQF Level 5/6 – Essential
- Certificate in Customer Service – Desirable
- 1 Year Sales Experience – Essential
- 1 Year ICT Experience – Essential
- Basic Bookkeeping Knowledge – Desirable
- Microsoft Office Suite – Word/Excel & PowerPoint – Desirable
