To originate new business, retain current business and identify opportunities to cross- and upsell the bank s products, services and solutions to meet the branch’s revenue, profitability and customer service targets
As the successful candidate, you must have the ability to negotiate and influence across all levels including senior stakeholders with sound knowledge of customers, segments, products and service in country for Retail Banking
you must be able to source clients through referrals and to continuously source new target markets through market research and provide input into and execute sales plan, you will also be responsible for attending to walk-in customers, using influence to get them to buy specific products or services. Must be able to identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities for existing customers within specific segments, particularly in relation to new products and solutions.
As the Sales and Service Team Leader, you should possess these skills in general; good people skills with the ability to approach, build and maintain
relationships at all organizational levels; good listening and verbal and written communications skills with an ability to cut to the core; able to lead and manage a team to achieve agreed business objectives; conflict management, negotiation and influencing skills; highly analytical and attentive to detail; solution focused problem solver with a track record of handling complex customer issues; self-starting, proactive, resourceful, efficient and deadline driven as well as judgement and decision-making skills.
Excellent knowledge of retail banking products and sales processes across multiple channels is essential with a proven track record in converting opportunities into revenue generation.
The successful candidate must ensure regular communication with customers and that clients are visited regularly, depending on the nature of the relationship.
Key requirements for this role;
Certificate m Banking and relevant Business Degree plus COP (Certificate of Proficiency) as required by NBFIRA 4+ years Retail Banking experience with exposure to sales and client relationships
