- Contracts Administrator
We are looking for suitably qualified, highly motivated, talented, innovative, dynamic, hands-on Botswana citizens capable of working both collaboratively and independently, with a high level of integrity and a desire to deliver operational excellence while achieving Zero Harm.
- The positions are based at the Mine Site located between Maun and Sehithwa in Ngamiland,
- You must have the enthusiasm and interest to work in a remote location and in a multicultural work environment.

A valid class B driver’s license is a must.

CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Contracts Administrator wil be required to manage established contracts, including ensuring information integrity, negotiating changes/modifications and monitoring supplier performance to deliver outcomes aligned with stakeholder expectations.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be responsible for;
- Reviewing contracts for compliance with language guidelines
- Reviewing contracts, verifying the accuracy and resolving discrepancies in line with company rules and guidelines
- Collaborating with internal procurement, legal and human resources teams to ensure contracts’ compliance
- Ensuring compliance with all legal frameworks and company standards
- Administering contracts to effect changes in the contractual agreements according to organizational and supplier needs
- Developing contract proposals to support organizational goals
- Sharing and clarifying contract processes, conditions and details with management, business partners and employees
- Liaising between parties regarding contract development, and negotiations regarding terms and conditions, and drafting and revising changes as required
- Negotiating and approving contract terms while ensuring that projects remain within the established budget
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a commercial or legal discipline (Contract Management, Finance, Accounting or Law)
- Proven contractor management skills
- 7 years prior experience in a contract administration role or a related field
- Proven knowledge of contract law, accounting principles and finance
- Strong negotiation and mediation skills
- Superior attention to detail in order to spot inconsistencies in contracts
- Previous experience in customer service and strong communication skills
- An expert level understanding and use of MS Office tools;
