The incumbent will be responsible for building and running of a highly competent Data, Analytics and Reengineering practice leads that will work on future fitting/ driving transformation within the bank, whilst instilling a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation. The role holder will be driving implementation of the business strategy.
Main accountabilities
- Analyse data across multiple systems and multiple formats and provide analytics and information that provide integrated views necessary to assist with business concerns.
- Develop and analyse analytical data sets across multiple sources of data, creating meaningful visualisations and design and implement creative approaches to predictive modelling problems.
- Design, develop and run model assessments, validation, enhancement activities and balancing procedures to ensure integrity of data.
- Partner with IT to effectively migrate analytical models from prototype to production.
- Design and drive integration and application of analytical model results with business partners, ensuring benefits realised.
- Identify and execute Ml transformation initiatives in line with the strategy.
- Understand business concerns or problems both strategic and operational and map and translate business problems into trackable analytical problems, relaying results in common business language with managerial implications.
- Define area of improvement by specifying exactly what needs to be improved by working with management to identify potential process improvement programs/projects, including cost justification of new program/project plans.
- Assess business performance, identify opportunities and facilitate the process of change and improvement within the business unit by continuously interacting with the stakeholders.
- Deliver QNI (Quality Net Income) and financial savings through ongoing initiatives.
- Partner with IT to effectively migrate analytical models from prototype to production.
- Design and drive integration and application of analytical model results with business partners, ensuring benefits realised.
- Identify and execute Ml transformation initiatives in line with the strategy.
- Understand business concerns or problems both strategic and operational and map and translate business problems into trackable analytical problems, relaying results in common business language with managerial implications. Lead, build and execute the development and implementation of business process efficiency strategy leveraging data and analytics to support the business strategy.
- Apply scientific principles and business inputs to refine and re-engineer as-is business processes (as well as newly to- be refined processes) into best scenario to-be processes to enhance customer experience and profitability.
- Conduct design initiatives aimed at improving efficiencies and effectiveness of operations by liaising and advising countries and managers.
- Identify Business Units and departments where Business Efficiency Improvement (BEI) initiatives can be conducted to improve process efficiency being pro-active in your fact finding.
- Interact with managers to focus resources on the parts of their Value Stream that offer the biggest opportunity for improvement focusing on elimination of waste.
Education and experience required
- Masters degree /post-graduation in financial services.
- Five years working experience in the financial services/ consulting industry.
- Broad exposure to management information and analytics in a financial services environment.
- Financial management experience.
- Previous exposure to client relationship management.
