TRAINING OFFICER (FIRST AID) tenable in Gaborone

Main purpose of the job:

To help the BRCS Training Programme to achieve its objective of saving lives through conducting accredited courses and any other trainings and associated services

Key perfomance areas

• Provide first aid training to BRCS Volunteers, Government employees, school students, private sector companies or any other interested organisations or individuals, either on site or in BRCS premises,
• Prepare training materials.
• Fill first aid kits, maintain inventories of equipment, ensure materials are stored properly, and recommend ordering of supplies.
• Act as an examiner for the BDF, Prisons, Police, Mines, and other groups which conduct their own training.
• Assist in promoting safety in the workplace, on the road ancbt home through discussion, presentations, use of media and workshops

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma/lntermediate Life Support(ILS) in a medical related field with a valid Instructor’s certificate for all First Aid Levels, Basic Fire Awareness and Basic Life Support. Qualifications must be from an institution ecognized by BQA

Experience

A minimum of three years’ field experience, conducting both theory and practical lessons
