Main purpose of the job
Responsible for the generation of leads, telephonically, contracting and capturing
the loan and support/boost sales through the Call Centre Manager and the Regional
Sales Manager. The post is tenable in Gaborone.

Main duties and responsibilities:
Operational
- Engages directly with customers either by telephone or electronically.
- Sells company products using over the phone techniques and convert leads into sales.
- Carry out administrative functions of call centre loan origination, mainly capturing loans.
- Protects the integrity of the Bayport brand.
- Receives sales targets from Call Centre Manager on weekly and monthly and executes as required.
- Responsible for offering customers with excellent customer service to uphold the Bayport Customer Experience standards.

Skills and competencies
- Strong customer centricity which results in treating customers courteously, responding to their requests in a timely manner, proactively identifying customer needs, and taking responsibility to resolve complaints.
- Above average customer service acumen. Knowledge of customer service strategies, principles and practices in the company. Strong interpersonal skills which results in effective communication and interactions with customers.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the financial institutions, co-workers, senior management. Attention to detail and analytical ability to understand the customer problem or request. Problem-solving skills Integrity
- Academic qualifications and experience
- A Diploma in Business Management. COP in Long term Insurance, advantageous.
- 2 years of financial industry experience or micro lending industry.
- Customer Service Training.
- Telephone etiquette training.
