Qualification:	Degree in Human Resource Management / Public Administration or its equivalent
Experience:	2 years’ experience as Chief Administration Officer 1 (D3) or Ten (10) years relevant experience

 

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To coordinate human resource functions of: recruitment and selection, training and development, employees’ relations and other human resources issues.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

1. Facilitates recruitment related processes.
2. Analyses and shortlists candidates for interviews.
3. Attends to staff welfare issues.
4. Resolves staff grievances.
5. Interprets administrative policies, regulations and directives and provides advice to customers.
6. Supervises the implementation of government policies and directives.
7. Verifies appointment letters of for revenue collectors, authorizing, paying and preparing officers
8. Supervises and manages performance of supervisees.
9. Monitors compliance to human resource management policies.
10. Monitors the administration function budget and controls expenditure to ensure appropriate utilization.
11. Verifies responses to Audit and Public Committee queries.
12. Prepares manpower estimates.
13. Prepares procurement plan.
14. Monitors human resources votes ledger.
15. Authorises purchases/ payment.
16. Perform any other administrative and HR duties that falls within the portfolio of Assistant Manager: HRM and Administration’s office
