Qualification: | Degree in Human Resource Management / Public Administration or its equivalent |
Experience: | 2 years’ experience as Chief Administration Officer 1 (D3) or Ten (10) years relevant experience |
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To coordinate human resource functions of: recruitment and selection, training and development, employees’ relations and other human resources issues.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
- Facilitates recruitment related processes.
- Analyses and shortlists candidates for interviews.
- Attends to staff welfare issues.
- Resolves staff grievances.
- Interprets administrative policies, regulations and directives and provides advice to customers.
- Supervises the implementation of government policies and directives.
- Verifies appointment letters of for revenue collectors, authorizing, paying and preparing officers
- Supervises and manages performance of supervisees.
- Monitors compliance to human resource management policies.
- Monitors the administration function budget and controls expenditure to ensure appropriate utilization.
- Verifies responses to Audit and Public Committee queries.
- Prepares manpower estimates.
- Prepares procurement plan.
- Monitors human resources votes ledger.
- Authorises purchases/ payment.
- Perform any other administrative and HR duties that falls within the portfolio of Assistant Manager: HRM and Administration’s office
