REPORTS TO: Managing Director
Purpose of the Job
Planning, directing and coordinating business development activities of Kgare through initiating and developing projects identified under strategic plan of the company.
Key Performance Areas
- Develop and implement the business’ strategic plans and contribute to the company’s growth.
- Coordinate activities for new business acquisitions and strategic projects, identify strategic projects and develop appropriate plans to implement them
- Create new business from company’s target markets
- Coordinate the budget process for the department and contribute to overall company budget.
- Implement the company’s digital strategy
- Develop new products for niche markets identified by the business
- Introduce company’s products to new and existing clients
- Establish and develop new relationships with potential clients and strategic partners
- Implement product development, branding and market due diligence and penetration.
- Ensure service and quality standards are being maintained on existing business
- Provide business performance reports to Executive Committee and the Board
- Contribute to development of the company strategy and enterprise scorecard
- Monitor employee performance and implement performance reviews
- Training and development of employee’s to maximise potential
- Implement appropriate risk controls and manage portfolio risk management
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Or minimum AIISA/ACII
- MBA will be an added advantage
- Minimum 5 years experience at senior management level
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders of the business.
- Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
- Knowledge of Strategic Planning and Strategic Management
