The Company Seeks To Invite Suitably Qualified And Experienced Candidates For The Following Position:
ASSET MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR – PROJECTS AND CONTRACTS

Job Summary:
To co-ordinate and monitor Engineering projects through their lifecycle across the Mine.
Key Activities:
- Implements the Engineering Projects quality assurance programme in accordance with set governance/design protocols/principles.
- Analyses the divisional area’s financial needs to develop a budget and ensures sufficient financial resources to meet business needs.
- Manages and controls allocated funds and operates within approved parameters.
- Manages assigned projects at initiation stage by facilitating the development of business cases as per MCM standards.
- Develops project management plans in accordance to standard project management framework to meet the project objectives.
- Plans and forecasts medium to long term project resource requirements.
- Coordinates the preparation of project cost estimates and cash flows.
- Manages project finances by monitoring and controlling cash flow and work package budgets.
- Manages the program by executing project management plans (schedule, costs, risk, quality, scope, etc.) through reviewing and approving internal and external partners’ project management plans.
- Ensure acceptance and acceptability of project deliverables by client by adhering to project deliverable hand-over process.
- Manages vendor / supplier / outsourced Project Managers.
- Ensures project closure requirements (contracts, administrative) are met and conducts approved project management performance reviews/Post completion audits e.g. outsourced, in-house and OEM projects).
- Initiates, monitors and controls short, medium and long term projects to ensure attainment of desired results.
- Identifies and manages the implementation of and adherence to legal and corporate governance principles/requirements.
- Manages and coordinates the implementation of safety, health and environmental programme in area of responsibility.
- Manages key effectiveness areas of subordinates by setting, monitoring and reviewing performance and taking remedial action as necessary.
- Implements knowledge management principles through application of tools and methodologies to continuously improve and sustain business performance.
- Identifies and implements creative and innovative ideas to continuously improve and sustain business performance.
- Implementation of the talent management initiatives in area of responsibility by ensuring the right competence and effectiveness of manpower (capacity building) through developing and implementing career, succession, training and development plans.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with all key stakeholders and partners to ensure achievement of business objectives.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- National Diploma /National Craft Certificate or equivalent.
- 8 years as Maintenance Coordinator of which 3 years is in a project environment or 6 years with a Diploma post relevant experience in field.
- Advanced Project management training
- Valid light duty Driver’s license
- Knowledge of SHE Management System ISO 45001: 2018 and ISO 14001: 2015
