Summary
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the position will be responsible for developing, monitoring and implementing the organisations’ Human Resources strategy, policies, systems, procedures and practices geared towards promoting a conducive environment that will attract, develop, motivate, reward and retain suitably qualified employees.

Description
The incumbent will be responsible for, among others, the following:
- Ensuring the existence of Human Resources strategy, policies and procedures.
- Developing, monitoring, reviewing and implementing the organisation’s recruitment, as well as, reward policies, systems, procedures and practices.
- Promoting positive industrial relations to enhance employee/management cooperation, reducing conflict and grievances, as well as, increasing productivity through improved communication.
- Developing, reviewing and implementing the performance management system to ensure positive impact on productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Managing the cost effective delivery of administrative services to support strategic objectives and goals.
- Coordinating and promoting the training, as well as, the development of staff in line with the organisation’s HR plans and performance requirements in order to optimize employee potential and personal growth.
- Monitoring labour market trends nationally and regionally, as well as, advising on the adoption of appropriate remuneration, welfare and general conditions of employment.
Minimum Requirements
The right candidate will possess the following:
- A Degree in Human Resources Management/Public Administration/Industrial Psychology, or equivalent. A Master’s Degree would be an added advantage.
- Minimum of eight (8) years’ post-graduate experience, three (3) of which should have been spent at an Executive HR Manager level in a wide range of HR practices.
- Knowledge of office administration procedures.
- Membership of a recognized Human Resources Management body is essential.
