PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Responsibilities

• Identify and researches potential new suppliers
• Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
• Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming deliveries of goods and services.
• Preparing procurements reports.
• Managing the procurement department by addressing demands, grievances. or other issues.
• Manage the recruitment and selection process for the procurement department.
• Nurture a positive working environment.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as Procurement officer
• People centric and results driven
• Demonstrable experience with procurement metrics
• Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
• Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a procurement officer
