ASSOCIATE PASTOR – YOUTH – Open Baptist Church Gaborone

Open Baptist Church Gaborone is committed to advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Botswana and beyond. The Church is seeking to recruit a dedicated, committed and mature person who will fill the position of an Associate Pastor – Youth.

• The primary function of the Youth Pastor is to introduce young people to Christ, To disciple them in spiritual growth. To train them in serving Christ with their lives and thereby imparting positively the youth in their respectively station either at home, in schools, university or work environment.
• Leading and developing a spiritually passionate and skilled Youth Ministry Team who together develop a vision for fhe future of the Youth Ministry and create an action plan to fulfill the purpose and vision of the Youth Ministry.
• The Youth Pastor must have a love for God, a love for young people and a pastoral heart to see them grow in their relationship with Christ.

Requirements:

1. He shall have theological training with a minimum of Bachelor of Theology from a recognized institufion or equivalent institution.
2. Must be mature in character with no less than 25 years in age.
3. Must be a married person.
4. Previous experience in youth ministry at a multicultural church will be an added advantage.
