Salary: D1 P368, 460.00 – P406, 332.00 per annum
Leave: 30 working days per annum.
Qualifications:
Degree in Architecture / Quantity Surveying / Structural Engineering or related field. Master degree in the above fields will be and added advantage.
Experience:
- For direct entry into this post applicants must have a minimum of 8 years post qualification experience, 2 years of which must have been served at D2 level or equivalent level in other employment sectors.
- For serving officers, at least 8 years work related experience, 2 years of which must have been served at D2 level in the relevant fields.
Registration: Candidate should provide proof of registration as a professional and a valid Practicing License of respective Professional Bodies e.g Engineers Registration Board, Architects registration Council, Quantity Surveyors Council (ERB).
Benefits:

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To plan, manage and coordinate the construction and maintenance of buildings, development of parks and cemeteries DUTIES:
- Provides strategic leadership and direction for the achievement of the Department’s mandate.
- Prepares and monitors recurrent and capital budget covering the operations, development and maintenance of departments.
- Facilitates review of contract documents in Consultation with Department of Corporate Services in order to meet dient’s specific needs.
- Reviews and recommends policy changes on issues related to project implementation and maintenance.
- Develops appropriate and measurable standards and monitors their implementation to ensure timely project implementation and value for money.
- Undertakes any other related duties as directed by management.
