Key Responsibilities
- Manage all branch stationery in terms of stock availability and version control.
- Make sure that security guards are present, and they always conform to the Bank’s code of conduct and dress code.
- Ensure that the Branch’s CCTV surveillance is always operational and liaise with relevant stakeholders whenever there is an issue.
- Ensuring that all maintenance work is done timeously and ensuring that the backup systems are in place, always maintained and functional. E.g., UPS and the generator.
- Support the account opening process by verifying KYC process and Cash Management in the branch. I.e., authorizing of teller transactions and balancing.
- Execution of vault and ATM cash activities as detailed in the Branch Cash handling procedures’Manual.
- Issuance and administration of all Branch snap checks. (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Monthly).
- Track and Maintain records of branch inventory.
- Dealing with all client queries received by the branch.
- Ensuring suspense accounts are followed up and long outstanding eliminated.
- Managing all controllable expenses – within budget – in especially Travel Local, Overtime Utility and Telephone Bills.
- Ensuring that commissions due to the Bank from third party cash services are collected daily.
- Custodian of all controlled stationery ATM cards and Co custodian of the ATM’s.
- Owning and resolving all issues in the Branch Audit report that are administration related.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or any related field
- Minimum of 2+years’cash management experience: experience as a Teller advantageous
- Good interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Judgement and decision-making skills.
- Good, applied business numeracy skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of the full MS Office suite.
