About the role
Reporting to the company CFO and divisional GM, the Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the Accounts department to deliver on all the financial and accounting functions of the business.
The Finance Manager will be involved in all aspects of the divisional finance management including strategizing, daily, weekly monthly, annual reporting, budgeting and other related matters. This role also carries a component of HR management assisting the General Manager, feed division, people reviews and ensuring the organization adherence to the employment Act and other labour related regulations.

Required qualifications are:
• To be an affiliated Chartered Accountant.
• More than 7 year of post qualified experience of managing a finance department, preferably in manufacturing
• industry.
Key tasks include:
• Managing the finance and accounting processes, including the budget and forecast process.
• Compiling and presenting the monthly financial statements to the company CFO and CEO.
• Adhering to company secretarial duties and compliances.
• Treasury management – including daily cash review, payments and completing month end cash flow
• reporting.
• Manage HR related matters; including contracts, remuneration as well as managing outsourced payroll.
• Preparation of audit packs, managing the annual audit and tax process with external consultants.
• Improving and maintaining internal controls.
• Identifying new processes where required and providing business case for implementation where necessary.
• Managing key suppliers and customers and their accounts.
• Manage the training and Human Resource development plans.
