JOB PURPOSE
To manage the Consumer Lending and Liabilities portfolio at centre level as well as ensuring maximum sales force performance in the centre/branch.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and acquire new business by presenting and selling company products and services to current and potential customers.
• Cross selling consumer products.
• Monthly sales analysis through system generated reports.
• Ensures risk is minimised by assisting customers with affordability and loan application process, in line with approved policies.
• Responsible for the performance management, training and development of Direct Sales agents, Centre administrators and Brokers and maintenance of good relations among them.
• Plans and implements human capital productivity interventions while ensuring that processes and practices are implemented to build capability.
• Maintaining highest level of customer service by ensuring sales team understand all products on offer.
• Identify and resolve difficult and sensitive customer complaints, concerns, and queries within record time.
• Reports on sales activities timeously and accurately as and when required.
• Handling of queries & complaints.
• Produce clearance letters and POP on request.
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor of Accountancy or Bachelor of Finance Degree or equivalent
• Degree in Business Management or related field
• At least five (5) years relevant experience in Consumer/Unsecured Retail Lending
• Use of lending systems or Credit Ease (added advantage)
• COP (added advantage)
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• Strong analytical and evaluation ability
• Proven track record of coaching and leading teams
• Understanding of the local retail banking market
• Ability to influence decisions
• Business and results oriented
• Good customer service skills
• Good communication skills
