VACANCY

Auto Sueco Botswana is part of the Nors group providing Sales, Parts & Services for Volvo trucks in Botswana as well as other Volvo brands like Volvo Buses and Volvo Penta. Our organisation is looking for skilled and experienced candidates for the following positions:
HEAVY PLANT MECHANICS X 3

Key Performance Areas:
• Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Inspect vehicle electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing components, lubricating parts, etc.) aiming at vehicle functionality and longevity.
• Schedule future maintenance sessions
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts.
• Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
• Record keeping and Completion of Job Cards
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition

Requirements and Skills
• National Craft Certificate (NCC)- Heavy Plant Mechanics
• Proven experience as a mechanic- 3-6 years experience
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.
• Good Customer services
• Fluent in both Setswana and English (Spoken)
• Must have a Driver’s license
