Position Description
Managing the administrative functions and overseeing all sales operations of the branch.
Key Responsibilities: –
- Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
- Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration
- Maintain positive attitudes towards customers and associates by being friendly and courteous – Provide customer service as needed
- Successfully resolve customer issues timely and professionally
- Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
- Manage budgets and allocate funds appropriately towards branch operating expenses
- Bring out the best of branches personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation
- Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
- Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
- Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration, and sales
- Responsible for liaising with the HR department to employ the right personnel and taking care of staff welfare matters
- Running weekly sales report and meeting with the Sales Representatives with the view to improve results
- Ensuring that all targets are met
- Soliciting information on competition pricing and bringing it to the attention of management
- Preparing monthly reports and making presentations to the Board of Directors
Education
- BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field; MSc/MA is desirable
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
- 3 Years’ experience as Sales Representative/Executive or in any other managerial position
- Knowledge of retail management best practices
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizing and leadership skills
- Commercial awareness
- Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles
- Knowledge in Evolution will be an added advantage
- Excel Reporting
