KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS OUTLINED
1.STRATEGY FORMULATION AND IMPLEMENTATION
Responsible for implementing corporate strategic plans of the company to all departments.
Ensures the corporate strategy is fully cascaded to all departments.
Ensures all departmental strategic plans are in alignment with the corporate strategy.
Develop and enhances Company culture that is aligned with the corporate strategy.
Develop and maintain research and development programmes to ensure that the company products and services remain relevant in the forefront in the industry.
Ensures proper allocation of resources departmentally.
2.REVENUE GROWTH AND BUDGETING
Responsible for implementing and operating within approved and allocated budget levels for the company.
Ensures that budget requests are raised on time to the Managing Director for proper and fluid budgeting and approvals to be sought from Management as per agreed/ set periodic cycles.
Leads in the selling of Ignyt Wealth products and services to customers in order to increase the Company market share.
Ensures sales targets are met.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Recruit qualified trainers and instructors for various courses and workshops
Manage income and expenses related to training programs to ensure profitability
Grow revenue through increased enrollment and innovative course offerings
Source new business opportunities and partnerships to expand our training offerings
Register courses with relevant regulatory bodies such as the Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA) and Human Resource Development Council (HRDC)
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and guidelines
Create and coordinate training events such as seminars, workshops, and summits
Provide training and coaching to staff as needed
Maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in the industry
3.RISK MANAGEMENT & BUSINESS CONTINUITY
Leads the development and implementation of an appropriate risk management framework for Company covering operational, project and overall business risks.
Conducts regular inspections and audits to mitigate risks and update the risk register where new risks are identified.
Ensures implementation and adherence to identified risk mitigation measures by all departments and acts as the risk management champion for Company.
Ensures that all project related risks are identified and managed to enhance project success.
Regularly communicates risk issues and conducts capacity building activities to enhance enterprise risk management capabilities.
Advices on warranties and asset insurance requirements.
4.PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Ensures Company policies are well communicated to all staff members.
Supervises the departmental staff in order to cultivate high performance culture.
Ensures the implementation of the Performance Management System on all direct reports
Mentors subordinates, performs staff appraisals, and establishes training needs where necessary.
Allocates responsibilities to head of departments in line with business needs.
Coordinates staff meetings.
Ensures departmental compliance with all Company Policies.
Participates in disciplinary enquiries when required.
5.STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
Informs stakeholders of plans or strategy through press releases, reports, meetings and presentations.
Receives feedback from stakeholders through stakeholder surveys and engagement.
Ensures the implementation of formal systems for engagement.
Develops and maintains healthy relations with all key stakeholders.
Anticipates new opportunities and establishes partnerships.
Maintains positive and trust-based relations with business partners, shareholders, and authorities.
Identifies customers (active, dormant and prospective) for the various product offerings and engages their key decision makers to get business and customer feedback.
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field
At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the training and education sector
Proven track record of successfully managing training programs and revenue streams
Strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to think strategically and drive business growth
Professional certifications in training and development are a plus
