SAC Commercial Parts – Branch Manager (Francistown)
The core purpose of the Branch Manager is to effectively manage the operations and employees of the branch as to ensure excellent customer service internally and externally is delivered. The incumbent must be able to analyse dashboards and statistics to translate into daily action plans in line with sales, financial control and operational requirements of the branch. Ensure that theft to stock and damages are minimal to the branch operation, with zero health and safety issues. Ensure the excellent running of the branch which will translate into the desired targets of the overall business strategy. Maintain excellent customer service levels at the branch, ensuring that the desired client base is achieved and maintained.

Key deliverables and outputs
Operational Management
• Ensure that the branch operations are well organized, runs smoothly as to offer excellent internal and external customer service.
• Stock and parts are well-maintained with no additional damage or theft.
• Manage the stock and parts of the branch and ensure that all checklists with detailed information required are accurately completed.
• Ensure that all stock and parts received has accompanying images completed on the 360 visual application system, allocated parts are removed and safely secured, and that all requirements match the completed checklist
• All stock is accurately captured into the Parts System accurately and correctly.
• Stock is correctly placed in the designated areas
Strategic Implementation
• Through the investigation and understanding of Business Information, via dashboards and reports, properly analyse this information as to implement action plans in line with meeting the agreed upon strategy from within the Business.
• Analyse data from some of the below mentioned reports to manage and implement action plans accordingly.
o Outstanding 360 visual transactions
o Parts and stock movement
o Inter-warehouse movements
o Checklists completed
Sales Management
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the parts department.
• Analyzes sales, expenses and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals. Supervises stock order procedures.
• Sets and enforces a policy on the special ordering of parts. Ensures that stock orders represent at least (established %) percent of all orders.
• Analyzes sales, expenses and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals.
• Develops and administers an aggressive wholesale parts program to produce profit.
People Management
• Manage the employee workforce of the branch by ensuring optimal delivery of performance, attendance, internal customer service and engagement of the Branch.
• Work with the Human Capita I Department in ensuring a II “people” related areas are effectively managed and supported.
• Ensure all employees are optimally trained and are performing at above average performance levels.
• Lead in accordance with the SAC Code of Conduct and Value Proposition
• Able to manage and adapt management style when required to accommodate a multi-faceted group of employees.
Compliance
• Ensure that compliance (Health and Safety) measures are always maintained within the branch.
• Ensure that all incidents of theft/missing parts of the stock and
additional damages is immediately reported and investigated.
• Oversee all activities at the branch and report irregular
behaviour immediately.
Skills and Personal Attributes Essential:
• Effective leadership and management skills.
• Ability to reduce business plan into operational plan.
• Ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst his team.
• Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes.
• Sound business case development and approval skills.
• Good understanding of SAC Process and procedures.

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of financial planning, budgeting and resources allocation.
• Excellent sales, customer and interpersonal skills.

Work experience Essential:
• Minimum of 5yrs’ supervisory experience.
• Proven track record of driving vehicle parts sales.
• Operations oversight experience.
• Experience pulling diverse teams together to reach business goals.
• Parts and Sales industry experience Advantageous.
• Proven track record of working within cross-functional teams.
• Sales/New business development.
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to reduce business plan into operational plan.
• Ability to interpret numerical information.
