Director – Aon Risk Solutions                                         ‘

Main purpose of the Job:

Primary role is a leader who is responsible for overall strategy and results as well as the strategic coordination of broking, servicing and sales activities with clients.

Leads the team in developing and executing proactive, creative and ongoing contact initiatives intended to identify and satisfy client needs, thereby driving retention and maintaining a growing share of the insurance broking market and maximize profitability of the division.

Actively and effectively communicates the value Aon delivers to clients.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

Retains and grows Aon business, cultivating relationships with client decision makers and facilitates critical relationships between clients, ARS and insurers.

Develops and manages the implementation of Client Promise Plans for each client, including a specific business plan aimed at ARS revenue growth.

Ensures client service team understanding of client needs, service delivery methods and the economic framework relevant to the service delivered.

Ensures Overall account profitability with a value based approach for the scope of service and costs associated with the Client Promise Plan.

Understands and works in alignment with the Aon leadership Model and its pillars of Client Value, Unmatched teams, Innovation, Results and Value for Clients and Colleagues.

 

Ensures operational excellence, including adherence to service management requirements (eg Transparency and Disclosure, Aon Compliance requirements etc.).

Drives the Renewal process, assembling the necessary team to develop and implement the client specific. Professional Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a professional insurance qualification at a level of at least Fellow or equivalent (FIISA, ACII).

At least 10 years appropriate insurance experience, coupled with project and account team management. In-depth working knowledge of the Insurance business and the assigned client needs as well as major lines of business.
