CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for prodding strategic leadership through the development and execution of both long and short-term plans of the Company. He/she will plan, direct and oversee BOL’s operational policies and goals for achievement of the company mandate.
Key Performance Areas
⦁ Provision of strategic and visionary leadership to the Company
⦁ Development of robust business models to drive extensrve and sustainable growth
⦁ Ensuring effective planning and overall efficiency m the operation of storage fool ties and procurement of petroleum products
⦁ Formulation of financially sound and commercially orientated budget proposals and business plans
⦁ Adherence to safety and operational standards for all BOL facilities in accordance with established international standards

Qualifications
⦁ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Supply Chain Management/ Engineering or a related field of study.
⦁ Membership of a professional body m good standing
⦁ Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
Supply Chain Management. Engineering or a related field is an added advantage
Experience
⦁ Minimum of ten (10) years senior management experience in supply or operations
⦁ Knowledge of petroleum industry technology, issues and trends at national, regional and ritemabonal levets
⦁ Experience in petroleum or mining based industries woo’d be an added advantage.
⦁ Strong expertise in strategic management, supply chain management, operations, budgeting, resource and performance management, planning, implementation as well as monitoring and evaluation
⦁ Ability to analyse and interpret operational, economic and financial data and apply management principles in making sound business decisions
