A job opportunity exists for the position of Chief Operating Officer responsible for Chobe Marina Lodge and African Odyssey Safaris, based in Kasane.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Applicants must have minimum 10 years’ Hotel / Lodge experience at an executive management level

• Minimum of 10 years’ proven track record and experience in a similar role as Chief Operating Officer.At least 10 years’experience in 4-star standard or higher

• At least 10 years’experience in safari activities is essential

 

• 4 star remote Safari Lodge experience with a minimum of 100 beds

• Must have an established relationship with key suppliers in the SADC region and abroad.

• Applicants must have a proven track record in operating in Botswana or at least one other SADC country.

• Extensive Human Resources Management at a senior level including proven experience in skills development, career pathway planning and leadership development coupled with Industrial relations experience.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Applicants should be in possession of a relevant tertiary Hotel Management qualification

• Extensive Food & Beverage Management Experience.

• Business Management Experience is essential.

It is essential that the applicants have staff development skills, and a relevant qualification in educating would be advantageous.
