Applications are invited from suitably qualified Local Authorities employees for the above post tenable in Tutume Sub District.

Salary: C2(P112812-P134856) per annum

Leave: 25 working days per annum

Benfits :Optional Medical Aid Scheme:Governments pay 50% and employee 50%

Contributory Pension Fund:Government pays 15% and employee pays 5%

Qualification: Degree / Diploma in Fire Engineering and Safety Engineering

Experience:At least 2 years having served as Station Fire Officer  – C3 / equivalent post

Main Purpose of the job

• Manage and coordinate Operation Shift programs to ensure compliance to set standards of teh fire service.
• Oversees and takes charge of protracted emergencies
• Ensure that personnel are familiar with high risk areas and special procedures to follow.
• Manages resources assigned to the shift and ensures their readiness.
• Undertakes any other related duties as directed by management.
