Financial Manager – Botswana – Safari Operator – P35000 per month

We are looking for an experienced FINANCIAL MANAGER for a safari and air charter company based in Maun.

The incumbent will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for the full finance function, including AFS and taxation.

The position is for a candidate willing to settle in Botswana and stay with the company on a long term basis.

We are looking for a candidate who will be able to commit to a long term employment and grow within the organisation.

Experience and skills required for this job:

• Minimum 5 years relevant senior finance experience and the relevant tertiary qualification (BComm, ACCA or equivalent)
• IFAC member (International Federation of Accountants)
• Advanced knowledge in Pastel,
• Payroll systems
• Excel and general skills in other Office programs
• Experience in managing finances in Tourism or Hospitality is essential.

Due to a very strict work permit regulations in Botswana, the above requirements of skills and education are non negotiable.

Start: ASAP – subject to negotiations

Salary package:

• Monthly salary: up to BWP 35,000
• Company pays 50% of medical
• Discretionary performance bonus
• Gratuity at end of contract (expat contracts run usually 2 years – renewable linked to work permit): 25% of annual basic.
