Job Description

  • Responsible to achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Key Account Management
  • Implementing a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy for the company and relevant products into the services market to ensure optimum success in sales and revenue targets
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence

 

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Collaborating with the National Sales Manager in line with the national sales strategy
  • To present sales targets an incentive programmes to Sales Representatives and address queries.
  • Identifying complementary / new product lines
  • Participating and presenting within trade visits by planning and executing/coordinating product promotions in line with supplier and customer requirements, including procurement of promotional materials.
  • Provide input and support to supplier initiated activation marketing campaigns.
  • Follow-up with sales representatives to ensure that sales and product promotion plans are effectively implemented, and provide support as may be necessary.
  • Coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

 

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 – 10 yrs experience in Sales & Marketing of which 5 preferably within a management capacity
  • Industry sector preference would encompass FMCG, Manufacturing and Hospitality
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Clearly proactive, amiable and professional in dealing internally and externally
