Accountant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing financial transactions and preparing financial Reports.
• Analyze financial information to assist in decision-making processes and provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Verify the accuracy of financial transactions and recommend corrective actions if necessary.
• Conduct internal audits to assess financial controls and identify areas of improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Responsible for reconciling Bank statements.
• Preparing Financial Statements.

Requirements:

• Fully or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA Qualifications
• Proven 5 years plus work experience as an Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in the use of accounting software packages (QuickBooks), Xero will be an added advantage.
• Outstanding attention to detail with an ability to reconcile complex accounts.
• Accurate efficient and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks as needed.
