Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and organised records of patient accounts, treatments and billing information.
  • Ensure all financial and administrative documents are properly filed both digitally and physically.
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Compare billing system records with payment confirmations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports including daily cash flow statements and accounts receivable ageing reports.
  • Ensure accounting activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations, policies and accounting standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial and patient-related information.

Requirements

  • A qualification in Accounting or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial record keeping and analysis.
