Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely management accounts and financial reports.
- Manage and monitor company cash flows.
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, including reconciliations and debtor management.
- Maintain and update the Company’s financial accounting systems.
- Manage payroll and ledger accounting.
- Monitor costs, stock controls and fixed asset registers.
- Prepare year-end financial accounts and coordinate the annual audit process.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory returns.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax, statutory and corporate governance requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure appropriate financial controls are in place.
- Provide financial information and analysis to management to support business and operational decision-making.
Requirements
- A relevant Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant accounting experience, particularly in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Must be BICA registered
- Proven experience in debtor management, reconciliations and VAT.
- Practical experience using Sage Accounting Software is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in a commercial or manufacturing environment, particularly FMCG, will be an added advantage.
