Key Responsibilities
- responsible for the overall quality of the finance function’s output
- ensuring accounting technical queries are promptly resolved
- ensuring that regulatory and company requirements are consistently met
- liaising regularly with the External Auditor
- overseeing accurate financial statements and management accounts
- ensuring tax compliance and timely statutory filings
- monitoring cash flow and internal controls across all departments
- prepare and present monthly reports to the Board of Directors
- provide financial support to all departments
- manage the productivity of a team of apprentices
- meeting monthly targets and business objectives
- developing annual budgets and forecasts
- working efficiently and independently while reporting directly to the Board of Directors

- Solid understanding of accounting and auditing standards, principles, and practices
- Minimum of eleven years’ work experience in a distribution, wholesale, Manufacturing, Consultancy Audit or similar environment
