Job Title: ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Role Purpose:
The role provides comprehensive accounting services to ensure accurate and timely processing of receipts and payments, maintenance of financial records, and effective management of cash flow and organisational funds.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
Process and administer payments to suppliers, staff, and service providers.
Manage accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.
Monitor cash flow, perform bank reconciliations, and prepare cash forecasts.
Support fixed asset management, including verification, tagging, and disposals.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and timely tax submissions.
Prepare monthly management reports and provide financial analysis.
Maintain audit-ready records and support financial advisory activities.
Provide excellent customer service and resolve financial queries.
Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, or
Diploma in Accounting or equivalent with at least 2 years’ relevant experience.
Strong numeric and analytical skills with high accuracy.
Excellent computer literacy and financial software proficiency.
Customer relations and interpersonal skills.
Ability to meet strict deadlines and work accurately under pressure.
Initiative and proactive problem-solving.
Attention to detail and adaptability.
Team player with strong communication skills.
